BOARD EXAMS
Boards in India are considered as most important exam in a student's life. Students start getting warning for coming boards from start of class 8th and it lasts till 12th. In everything they are told "now your boards are going to be held soon study hard do not waste time here and there".
Value of boards is very high in minds of Indian parents, students too fear of board exams ,fear occupies minds of children because of hearing boasted talks about boards from parents,neighbors and grown up people in their surrounding.
Some students fear boards as such that they fall in depression due pressure of boards.
So here I want to clear all the misconceptions about boards so that students do not fear them rather face them boldly.
Firstly boards are the easiest exam a student ever gives in his/her life,students analyse this when they sit for competitive exams .
In boards the syllabus is limited and specified whereas in competitive exams the syllabus is vast and unspecified.
Students should not take board exams as burden as they are very easy and most of the questions are asked from NCERT and that too not from very deep of chapters.
Secondly, in board exams marking is very lenient ,marks are given to students in most of the cases, even if they have attempted the questions. So no tension of copy checking and marking scheme in boards .
Thirdly , board marks are not that important as they are boasted rather the are least important in building career of a student. The
marks of class 10th is seen to verify the date of birth of student and class 12 mark sheet is seen just to ensure that the student has studied till 12th, no where the marks are given privilege. What is need is the report card not the marks.
By telling you all this I do not at all mean that you should take your board exams lightly and do not study for them rather by telling you all this i mean that you shouldn't be extra tensed and depressed about your boards but study for them without fear and with light heart so that you do not stress your mind and hence perform better in exams.
Students I want to tell you that please do not run after marks they are of no use , just run after knowledge its of use everywhere and leads you to success.
Be confident, motivated and calm.
